I was actively involved in designing and developing highly sensitive software solutions for government and enterprise clients, utilizing ASP.NET, MVC, API, and EF Core to build secure, scalable, and efficient applications. My work included developing Skyline ERP, an enterprise resource planning system for business automation; the Kano State Online Indigene Application, a digital platform for verifying and issuing indigene certificates; the Nasarawa L.G.A Tax Collection Software, a government taxation system for revenue collection and compliance tracking, and the Kano State Public Servant Central Database, a centralized system for managing public servant records with improved efficiency and security. My responsibilities covered backend development, API design, database management, and system optimization, ensuring high-performance applications that met critical operational requirements..

At Gems Global Services Ltd., I worked as a Software Engineer from December 2021 to May 2022, following a prior internship from May 2021 to December 2021. During my tenure, I was responsible for upgrading and maintaining the GEMS POS, a retail management system, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. I also played a key role in managing the development of SoftKano, an e-commerce solution, working with senior engineers to enhance the platform using WordPress. My responsibilities included providing prompt solutions and proactive troubleshooting to swiftly resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system stability and efficiency. Additionally, I participated in the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, gaining hands-on experience in both software development and system maintenance. My contributions helped optimize retail operations and enhance digital commerce solutions for the company.

At Startup Kano, I worked as a Web Developer Intern from May 2018 to November 2018, where I collaborated on developing responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. I assisted in maintaining the company’s website, integrating third-party APIs, and ensuring seamless functionality. My role involved translating UI/UX designs into functional web interfaces, contributing to code reviews to enhance team collaboration and code quality, and utilizing Git for version control and documentation. Additionally, I participated in daily stand-ups, providing progress updates and discussing challenges to improve project development efficiency.
